To create an isolated footing job

To create a job to analyze and design one or more isolated footings in the General mode, use the following procedure.

  1. Start a with a new project in STAAD Foundation Advanced.
    Tip: Alternatively, you may export support reactions and column data from STAAD.Pro into STAAD Foundation Advanced. Refer to Exporting from Within STAAD.Pro for details.
  2. (Optional) To import column and support data from an external source (column sizes, support reactions, etc.):

    STAAD.Pro refer to ::/GUID-67AD58CA-4C15-44F7-A415-204B50D07BDA
    an ISM repository use the New from Repository tool.
  3. Create an isolated footing job. Refer to Creating a New Job for detailed steps.
  4. Enter the footing geometry data, soil data, loads, manually specify or generate load combinations, concrete and steel design parameters, etc. Refer to Isolated Footing job for details on these forms.
